Just curious I have a small Tomb Kings army I have been slowly building and I was wondering if any of you played.

Nobody does currently, that I know of. Except for Kevin, of course, who is the typical game-store game-whore. Although you'll note the qualifiers in the first sentence; there have been some conspiratorial rumblings of trying out the new edition.
Personally, I wouldn't mind giving it a shot, but my problems with fantasy have always been 1) centering on Herohammer - or recently, Deathstar - units; 2) every other unit needs on average twice the number of models as a 40k unit, meaning that many more toy soldiers to build and paint (not to mention buy). At this point it would require me finding an easy way of dual-basing my daemon army to give it any serious consideration.

When I had daemons I dual based them. I used a magnet in the bottom of the base. Also many people have been just magnetizing the movement trays and putting the 40K bases directly on them.

Fantasy 8th looks like a very good game. Less character hammer more troops are better and it has a new magic phase that looks really good. _________________ I have the body of a god..... the Hivemind |

That sounds like the easiest solution. GF9 makes round-hole-cut movement trays for 25mm bases, but they're still $5-10 per tray.
I don't know what to do with the big guys, though. 60mm round and 50mm square are just not compatible in any geometry I can think of, and there's no way a metal Bloodthirster is going to stay attached to anything with magnets in his feet... er, hooves.

There is away to do it with magnets. You just have to hide them in a removable terrain feature on the base. It can be done. I will have to look at it and figure it out. I think I have a blood thirster somewhere n my stuff. _________________ I have the body of a god..... the Hivemind |

Yes but they are good biscuits and we have a fine assortment of honey and jams. Also tea by the potfuls. _________________ I have the body of a god..... the Hivemind |
